CREDITHINK SNAIL HONEY JELLY MASK - YAY OR NAY?

I received this lovely box of masks from Credithink three weeks ago. Though Credithink sent me this box in exchange for a review, this review is still my own. Credithink collaborated with Jin Jung Sung to create these masks named SNAIL HONEY JELLY MASK.

The packaging is designed simply with a cute snail in the middle of the pink background. Let’s look at the ingredients. The two main ingredients are absolutely Snail and Honey, as you can see obviously in the name of this mask. They are perfect together since snail is good at reducing fine lines, improving skin elasticity and boosting hydration; then honey is a powerful antioxidant that helps to boost moisture and skin radiance. Other notable ingredients are Niacinamide - my favourite ingredient used in brightening and reducing redness and blotchiness; Royal Jelly Extract - containing a wide range of amino axids + minerals + vitamin B to help repair and protect the skin; Propolis Extract - anti-inflammatory + anti-viral + anti- bacterial, helps soothe and heal; different types of Hyaluronic Acids - good for moisturizing. A great thing is that this mask is a fragrance-free, silicone-free and paraben-free product, which may be hypoallergenic for sensitive skin.

So here is my experience. The mask is super thin and soaked with essence, so I find it quite difficult to unfold it. It has herbal smell ( I guess ) and it fits my face nicely. When I applied this mask on my face, I saw there are microbubbles in it. I gently massaged them and waited for 20 minutes before removing the mask. Then my skin was covered with lots of essence. I spent about 10 minutes massaging all over my face so that the essence could absorb into my skin. I tried this mask on a day when my skin was really dry and after using it, it’s like my skin was renewed surprisingly. My skin looked much more glowy and plump. I even didn’t need to use any serum or cream after this mask as my skin felt so well moisturized and hydrated. What I don’t like about it is that it leaves my skin feeling a little bit sticky. When I woke up in the next morning, my skin wasn’t so oily and didn’t have any allergic reactions.

Overall, I had a great experience with SNAIL HONEY JELLY MASK. As I have oily skin type, I think this mask is just suitable for me in the winter. For summer, it may too heavy for my skin. I highly recommend it to people who have dry skin, especially in the winter. Let’s apply moisturizing cream after using this mask and I’m sure that the symptoms like a feeling of skin tightness, dry patches or redness will be minimized. This mask is worth a try.
